Sally Cullum - Company Director

Sally has been teaching English since completing the internationally recognised CELTA teaching qualification in 2002. Sally has taught in a number of language schools across London, including Bell International, CL, Twin and Frances King.

Sally has vast experience teaching multi-national students of all abilities, from beginner to proficiency. Sally also specialises in teaching exam preparation classes: IELTS, FCE, CAE and BEC (Business English Certificate).

Previous to teaching English, Sally studied psychology at Manchester University, before working as a writer for the BBC between 2000 and 2002.

Barry Spencer

Barry Spencer - Company Director

Barry began his career in teaching after completing the CELTA qualification in 1997. He then went on to successfully pass the legally recognised Post Graduate Certificate in Education, enabling him to work in state and private schools within the UK.

Barry specialises in teaching exam preparation classes, particularly English GCSE and A-level. As well as these British exams, Barry has over 12 years experience getting students ready for the internationally recognised IELTS, FCE, CAE, CPE examinations.

Barry graduated from Liverpool University after obtaining a first class honours in literature. Barry is also a published writer.

John Morrissey

John Morrissey - Company Director

John began teaching after receiving his CELTA qualification in 1997. Since then, he has taught in Spain, Chile and Ireland, as well as here in Great Britain. He has taught students at all levels, from beginners to advanced, and at a wide range of ages, from very young to not so young. As well as general English, he has taught business English and preparation classes for the Cambridge Certificate exams.

 In addition to teaching English, John is a maths tutor with some seven years' experience preparing children for their 11+, 13+, GCSE and SATs exams.

Gregory Morrissey

Gregory Morrissey

After receiving his history degree from Trinity College Dublin, Gregory went to Japan to start his teaching career. Over four years, he taught business English classes, often on a one-to-one basis, as well as conversation and general English classes, including at a secondary school in Osaka. Over this period he worked for various Japanese businesses, proof-reading English-language letters and e-mails that were to be sent to foreign companies.  

Since coming to London, he has been teaching at the prestigious Frances King school and offering private lessons to Japanese businessmen and their families.
